A Snapshot of the UK's Favourite Dog Games on Android in Q1 2021

The first quarter of 2021 has been an interesting period for dog-themed games on the Android platform in the United Kingdom. With data sourced from Sensor Tower, we take a closer look at the performance of the top dog games in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Starting with Pet Rescue Saga by King, this established title has shown a consistent revenue trend with a peak of around $36K in mid-January before settling to about $32K towards the end of March. Downloads spiked at nearly 7K in mid-January but saw a gradual decline to 809 by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 25K and showed a slight decrease over the quarter, ending at roughly 24K.

Hamster cake factory from mafgames displayed a different pattern with revenue starting at approximately $2K at the year's beginning and dipping to under $400 by the quarter's end. Downloads, however, experienced a surge in late March, reaching over 2K. Active users followed a similar uptrend, starting at 3.7K and growing to 4.3K.

Next up is Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games by Appsyoulove. Although revenue figures began at zero, they showed growth to nearly $1.7K in early March before a slight decrease. Downloads saw a significant increase, peaking at over 14K in mid-February, but then followed a downward trend to just over 1K by the end of March. The weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 359 and reaching a high of over 12K before falling to 2.9K.

The performance of Pet Shop Story™ by TeamLava Games was modest. Revenue showed a late surge from under $1K to over $500 by March's end, despite no new downloads recorded throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained low, hovering around the 100 mark.

Lastly, PAW Patrol: Air & Sea from Nickelodeon had a stable but modest performance. Revenue fluctuated slightly around the $200 mark and downloads remained under 100 each week. Active users were not reported.
